The Marlins continue a seven-game road swing tonight with the final game of this three-game against the defending World Series Champion Chicago Cubs at 8:05  p.m. EDT.

RHP José Ureña (3-2, 3.80) will start for Miami and make just his second career start and appearance against the Cubs. He took the loss in his only other appearance, June 1, 2015 at Marlins Park, giving up three runs on four hits over 6.0 innings.

Chicago is countering with RHP John Lackey (4-5, 4.90), who in four prior starts against the Fish is 1-1 with a 4.44  ERA.

Miami entered this road trip coming off an 8-2 homestand against the Angels (2-1), Phillies (3-0) and Diamondbacks (3-1).

Following tonight's game, the Marlins will travel to the Steel City to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in a four-game weekend set. The schedule then has Miami going home for two games against the Oakland Athletics (sandwiched between off-days), going back on the road for three in Atlanta, and then returning home again for another 10-game homestand.
